Blame it on farmers!
Based on the recent reports by Daily Express “Tenom hospital staff vacate apartment”. The blame game on farmers is indeed an unfair clarification. Slamming on the farmers alone by clearing up the upshot caused by the logging activities in the 90s (be it Legal or Illegal) is a one way or another of saving someone ass!
Logging in light description (Available in form 1 geography book)
Besides destroying much of Sabah’s valuable biodiversity, has placed the livelihoods of local people in danger. Logging and the building of logging roads to extract timber efficiently have exposed over 40 per cent of the forest floor, resulting in severe soil erosion which contributed to flash floods.

This sort of thing never happened in Tenom 20 years ago. But today global warming caused by wanton logging and levelling of hills, not to mention dredging along rivers all contributed to the recent flash floods.
Farming in big scales may contributed to the uproars but to blame them alone is not decent. I can smells what the Rock is cookin’.
