I never thought of having my own registered DNS (Domain Name Server) for the purpose of blogging. Heck! Since when I really blog?! After having multiple accounts on every blog service providers we might possibly know (for years)… I lean my head to blogger as it easy to maintain and less hassle. Well, at least for me. I’ve been eyeing for the best dns provider for the past few weeks and I conclude to register through ServerFreak Network. A local hosting company. The pricing was quiet average as you can actually get less for 1 year subscription. But, decision made and im happy for it.

So what ghost possessed me to buy a domain?
The main reason that haunted me for years now, is the google adsense ghosts. There is an added advantage to have a domain name registered to you other than using the usual blogspot url address when you considering serious ‘adsensing’. When I started out this blog two years ago, I want to make money online immediately. But believe me or not I haven’t make even a cent from google adsense . So I decided to refrain from adsense. lol

I’ve been using a free domain name for years. Courtesy of dot.tk Just to shorten the long blogspot url address. Its time to wrap it up I guess, it simply cool to choose your own name to simplify the address of your blogsite. At the same time punching a hole in your pockets.

Why Timugon.com?
Because it is not registered yet.:)) and to make a tribute to my ethnic group and keeping the legacy of it. Timugon Murut is a minority tribe residing in the interior vicinity of Tenom and Keningau in Sabah. Once feared for practicing headhunting, our mother tongue is in danger of extinction. In the meantime, this blog will continue serving as a personal blog and im hoping to keep it alive as long as possible. It will never be categorized as I’ll pen out thoughts, news, or whatever in between just like how I want it to be.
